The Aljaferia Palace, seat of the Aragonese Regional Parliament, is home to many centuries of art, history and culture, managing to surprise visitors with its Trovador tower, the Moorish Taifa Palace, the Palace of the Catholic Kings, built on the north wing of the Arab quarter, the new recovered areas that occupy the Aragonese Parliament, etc. In 2001, UNESCO named Aragonese Mudejar art, a World Heritage site, underlining the fact that the Aljaferia Palace, which became a National Monument in 1931, is one of the most emblematic monuments of Aragonese Mudejar art.
